Actor-director-composer Vijay Antony has reportedly distributed blankets and slippers to needy people in Tirpathi to celebrate the success of his recent release Pichaikkaran 2. 

Though the film received only a decent response in Tamil, the Telugu version is said to have become a hit grossing 12 crores at the box office.

Apart from playing the lead, Vijay Antony has edited, directed, written, composed and produced the film. It may be noted that he recently announced that he will begin working on Pichaikkaran 3 in 2025. 

Vijay has films like Kolai, Agni Siragugal, Ratham, Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan and Valli Mayil in various stages of production.
