On Thursday, the makers of debut director Ram Sangaiah's Thandatti announced that the film will hit theatres on June 23.

The film stars Pashupathy, Rohini and Vivek Prasanna in lead roles and Ammu Abhirami in a supporting role. Backed by Prince Pictures, Thandatti is touted to be a rural comedy-thriller.

The announcement also revealed that the film's trailer will be out on June 6. The makers previously released the first-look poster of Thandatti. It featured Rohini as a deceased person, made to sit on a chair. On either side of Rohini, we see Pashupathy and Vivek Prassana. While Pashupathy is in the attire of a cop, the latter is wielding a sickle in his hand, looking like a thug.

Thandatti's cinematography will be handled by Mahesh Muthuswami, while KS Sundaramoorthy will be composing the music. The film's editing is done by Shivanandeeswaran.
