On Wednesday, the makers of Naga Chaitanya's Tamil-Telugu bilingual Custody released the Ettu Thesa song from the film. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film hit theatres on May 12 and opened to mixed reviews. The Telugu version of the song is titled Annadhammulante.

Composed by Ilaiyarajaa, Ettu Thesa has lyrics penned by Gangai Amaren. Yuvan Shankar Raja, who has also composed music for the film, has sung the song along with Vijay Yesudas. The lyrical video song shows the relationship between Chaitanya's Shiva and his brother Vishnu (Jiiva) from the film. 

Custody also stars Krithi Shetty, Aravind Swami, Priyamani, and Sarath Kumar in prominent roles. Custody is backed by Srinivasaa Silver Screen.  

The technical crew of Custody consists of SR Kathir as the cinematographer and editing by Venkat Raajen. Rajeevan handled the production design. Venkat Prabhu has penned the dialogues for the film in Tamil, while Abburi Ravi has penned the Telugu dialogues.
