The trailer of Takkar, the upcoming film starring actor Siddharth in the lead role, will release on Sunday at 11:30 pm. The film is directed by Karthik G Krish, who previously helmed the romantic comedy Kappal in 2014. Takkar will hit the theatre on June 9.

The film is backed by Sudhan Sundaram and G Jayaram. The film also stars Yogi Babu, and Divyansha Kaushik, among others in prominent roles. Takkar’s technical crew consists of Vaanjinathan Murugesan as the cinematographer and music composed by Nivas K Prasanna. GA Gowtham and Udaya Kumar are handling the edits and production design, respectively.

Meanwhile, Siddharth was last seen in projects like the anthology Navarasa and the Telugu film Maha Samudram. He is also part of the upcoming sequel Indian 2, alongside Kamal Haasan.
