It has been 23 years since Shiva and Jennifer first had their clash of egos. Kushi, SJ Suryah's sophomore directorial, turns 23 today. Romantic drama continues to be loved by the masses and is considered to be an important film in the careers of everyone involved.

Backed by AM Rathnam's Sri Surya Movies, Kushi was remade into multiple languages with most of these versions becoming blockbusters too.

While Pawan Kalyan and Bhumika Chawla played the roles of Vijay and Jyotika in the Telugu version of the film, the same roles were reprised by Fardeen Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the Hindi version. While both these were named Kushi, the Kannada version was titled Eno Onthara, and starred Ganesh and Priyamani in the leads.

Kushi (2000) also starred the late Vivekh in one of his most iconic roles and also featured Mumtaj, Vijayakumar, Janaki, Rajan P Dev, and Nagendra Prasad in important roles.

While the film had cinematography by Jeeva, the music was composed by Deva.

Fans are rejoicing on this milestone anniversary on social media by sharing posts, pictures, and essays on why Kushi is one of their favorite films and has stood the test of time.
