Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj recently praised Manikandan-starrer Good Night, which opened to positive reviews last week. Taking to his social media handle, he wrote, "Watched Good Night. The movie is fun-filled, feel-good, emotional, and realistic. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice & sleek performance by Manikandan & all the other cast. Best wishes to @imvinayakk, @Yuvrajganesan, @mageshraj and @thilak_ramesh." (sic)

Written and directed by Vinayak Chandrasekaran, the film also stars Ramesh Thilak, and Meetha Raghunath in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Nazareth Pasilian, Yuvaraj Ganesan, and Maheshraj Pasilian under the banners Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment. The technical crew consists of Sean Roldan composing five songs for Good Night, cinematography by Jayanth Sethumadhavan, and editor Bharath Vikraman.
