Cricketing superstar Kapil Dev has met the superstar of cinema Rajinikanth and a photo of them together was shared by the former on his social media accounts. Their meeting is said to have happened at the shooting spot of Rajini's Jailer. 

"An honour and privilege to be with the great man," Kapil captioned the picture, which features the superstars in polos and smiling at the camera. 

It may be noted that Rajini recently met cricketers Varun Chakravarthy and Venkatesh Iyer.   

Jailer directed by Nelson stars Mohanlal, Shivarajkumar, Tamannaah, Mirnaa and Yogi Babu. Apart from this film Rajini has Lal Salaam, directed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth, which is incidentally basedon cricket. He also has TJ Gnanavel's upcoming film produced by Lyca Productions.

It is also rumoured that Rajini has signed a new film with director Lokesh Kangaraj. But they are yet to make an official announcement regarding this.
