Earlier, we reported that Ashok Selvan will star in Por Thozhil, the upcoming investigative thriller directed by debutant director Vignesh Raja. The latest update is that the film's first look will be revealed on Wednesday. The announcement poster features a police jeep standing amidst farmland and a man with his limbs tied up lying on the floor.

Por Thozhil also stars Sarathkumar and Nikhila Vimal. Vignesh Raja has written Por Thozhil along with Alfred Prakash. The film is attached to Applause Entertainment studio, which marks its maiden Tamil project with Por Thozhil. The banner behind projects like Scam 1992, and Zwigato, will be producing the film in association with E4 Experiments and Eprius Studio. The film's technical crew includes Kalaiselvan Sivaji, editor Sreejith Sarang and music composer Jakes Bejoy.
