Bombay Jayashri Health Update: I am recovering well, singer says

In April, we reported that singer Bombay Jayashri was admitted to the hospital following a sudden health setback. Following that her family members have been issuing updates on her health and recovery. 

Almost a month later, the singer, on Monday, took to her social media handle and wrote, "With all your blessings, prayers and wishes, I am recovering well. Please keep them coming." It may be noted that he had a health setback in the United Kingdom where was touring for her concerts. She received a timely medical intervention and was rushed to the hospital. 

The eminent Carnatic singer was recently honoured with the Sangeetha Kalanidhi Award by the Music Academy. Jayashri is also a renowned playback singer who has sung songs like Vaseegara (Minnale), Ondra Renda (Kaakha Kaakha), Paartha Mudhal (Vettaiyadu Vilayadu), Pi's Lullaby (Life of Pi), Thaimai (Theri) and more. She has also sung in other languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
