On Thursday, the makers of the upcoming film Hit List announced that director turned-actor Gautam Menon has joined the film's cast. The actor will play the role of the villain in the film. Hit List stars Sarath Kumar and Vijay Kanishka in lead roles. 

The film is directed by Sooryakathir Kaakkallar and K Karthikeyan. Previously, the team released two posters. While one showed a reflection of Vijay against a shattered mirror, the other poster shows Sarath Kumar and Vijay’s images divided by a stranger. “Ignorance of the law is a crime” the poster reads.

The makers also revealed that they have begun the final leg of the shoot for Hit List. Smruthi Venkat is also a part of the film's cast. The film will be presented by KS Ravikumar.
