On Wednesday, the makers of Sundar C's Thalainagaram 2 announced that the film is scheduled for a June release. Written and directed by VZ Dhorai, the film will also star Pallak Lalwani in a prominent role. 

The makers previously released the film's teaser which showed Sundar C as a man with vengeance, who has no fear to slay those who have wronged him. 

The technical crew of Thalainagaram 2 includes E Krishnasamy as the cinematographer, while Sudharsan is the editor. Ghibran is the music composer for the film. Thalainagaram 2 will be backed by Dhorai along with SM Prabakaran. The film also stars Thambi Ramaiah, Baahubali-fame Prabhakar, Aayira, Jaise Jose, Vishal Rajan, and Seran Raj, among others.

Thalai Nagaram is a 2006 action crime film, which was written and directed by Suraj. The film starred Sundar C, Jyothimayi, Vadivelu, and Prakash Raj, among others and was met with commercial success.
