On Monday, the makers of the upcoming Tamil film Koodu released the first look poster of the film. Directed by debutant Joyal Vijay, Koodu's first look poster features a bird's nest along with some eggs. 

Koodu is based on the true story of villagers who lived without electricity for 35 days because a sparrow built a nest in the EB box in the village. With resilience, they waited until the eggs hatched and the sparrows flew away.  

M Ganesh and Kannan P of Sky Moon Entertainment and A Entertainment are producing Koodu.  David Williams has penned the script for this upcoming film. Details regarding the cast and crew of the film are expected to be announced officially soon by the makers. 

The poster also revealed that Koodu will release in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam, apart from Tamil.
