We had earlier reported that Kanguva, Suriya's upcoming big-budget period drama with director Siva is currently being filmed.

According to reports, the makers of Kanguva have completed the Kodaikanal schedule. It is speculated that the period portions of the film were shot in the hilly region.

Set to be released in over ten languages, Kanguva is billed to be Suriya's most expensive film to date. The next schedule of Kanguva is expected to be shot in Kerala, and showcase the actor in one of the many looks he is reportedly sporting for the film. 

With music by Devi Sri Prasad, Kanguva will have cinematography by Vetri.

Backed by Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green, Kanguva is aimed at an early 2024 release.
