Trisha releases poster from The Road

After receiving an overwhelming response for her role as Kundavai from Ponniyin Selvan, Trisha is currently working on a Tamil film titled The Road. On Saturday, Trisha tweeted a poster from the upcoming film.

The poster shows Trisha sitting on a milestone on the side of a road, as she has a resting face.

The Road is written and directed by Arun Vasigaran and backed by AAA Cinema. The film will have music composed by Sam CS, with Nagooran handling the edits and KG Venkatesh as the cinematographer. Phoenix Prabhu.  

The film also stars Santhosh Prathap, Shabeer, MS Bhaskar and Vela Rammoorthy. The film is stated to be based on a real-life incident which happened in the early 2000s. Speculated to be a thriller, the release date of the film is yet to be announced.
