The makers of an upcoming Tamil film Racer released the film's trailer on Monday. Directed by Satz Rex, the film stars Akil Santhosh and Lavanya in lead roles. 

The trailer starts by showing the protagonist Akil's craze for bikes. He fights with his father to purchase him a bike as he is determined to become a bike racer. When he refuses to, Akil does not go back on his ambition and tries hard to buy a bike without his father’s knowledge to take part in the race.

Produced by Kartik Jayas of Hustlers Entertainment, Racer has music by Barath, cinematography by Prabhakar and editing by Ajith NM. The film also stars Aaru Bala, Parvathy, Sarath, Nirmal, Aravind, Satheesh, Anees and Subramanian Mathavan. 

The makers are yet to reveal a release date for Racer.
