On Tuesday, the makers of Arya's upcoming film Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam announced that the film's teaser will be out on March 31. Replying to Arya's tweet sharing the news, Sayyeshaa took to Twitter to compliment her husband. 

She wrote, "So excited to watch the teaser!! I know you’ve killed it!" 

Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam marks Arya's first collaboration with director Muthaiya, who previously helmed Viruman. The film features actor Siddhi Idnani as the female lead, who was last seen in Gautham Menon's Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu.

Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam is reportedly about how politicians create chaos among people belonging to different religions in a village. Arya is said to be playing a Muslim youth in it. 

Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam has music composed by GV Prakash Kumar, with Velraj handling the cinematography. Venkat Raajen, who previously worked with Muthaiya in Viruman, will be editing this film as well.
