The first single from Veeran, Thunderkaaran, promo song, will release on Friday, the makers of the film announced on social media on Wednesday. The film which features Hiphop Tamizha in the lead role also has music composed by the rapper.

Directed by ARK Saravanan of Maragatha Naanayam-fame, it is backed by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan's Sathya Jyothi Films who had earlier collaborated with Adhi for Sivakumarin Sabadham and Anbarivu.

The shooting for Veeran has been wrapped up. The film also features Athira Raj as the female lead in the film which also stars Munishkanth, Kaali Venkat and Sassi Selvaraj.

The film will have summer 2023 release. “We are aiming to bring this to theatres during the summer vacation. Veeran has a lot of fantasy and comedy in it, families and younger audiences will enjoy these elements," said Saravanan in a previous conversation with CE.
