Earlier, we reported that Rocky fame Vasanth Ravi and Sathyaraj are uniting for a film titled Weapon. On Wednesday, the makers revealed that the final schedule of shooting for Weapon has begun. 

Directed by Guhan Senniappan who had previously helmed Sawaari and Amazon Prime Video's first Tamil web series, Vella Raja, Weapon is an action thriller. Produced by MS Manzoor of Million Studio, Weapon has been filmed in Chennai and in surrounding hill stations. 

Weapon also stars Rajeev Menon, Rajeev Pillai, and Tanya Hope, among others. The cinematography for Weapon is handled by Prabhu Rhagav while the music for the film is composed by Ghibran. The makers of the film are yet to finalise a release date.

Meanwhile, Vasanth Ravi is also working on Rajinikanth-Nelson Dilipkumar's Jailer. He will also be seen in Tarun Teja's ASVINS. Sathyaraj, on the other hand, was last seen in Waltair Veerayya.
