Kannai Nambathe, the upcoming Tamil film starring Udhayanidhi Stalin and Aathmika in the lead roles, is set to release in theatres on Friday. The makers have now revealed the runtime of the film to be two hours and ten minutes.

Censored U/A, the film is directed by former journalist Mu Maran, who is best known for making the 2018 action-thriller Iravukku Aayiram Kangal which starred Arulnithi in the lead. Kannai Nambathe is a crime thriller and also stars actors Srikanth, Prasanna, Bhumika Chawla, Sathish, Vasundhara Kashyap, Sathish Marimuthu, Subiksha Krishnan, and Pazha Karuppiah, among others.  The film will also have a significant but a small voice over by Arulnithi.

Produced by VN Ranjithkumar under his banner LIPI Cine Crafts, the film is being distributed by Red Giant Movies. The music for Kannai Nambathe has been composed by Siddhu Kumar while the cinematography has been handled by Jalandhar Vasan.

After Kannai Nambathe, Udhayanidhi will be next seen in Mari Selvaraj’s Maamannan which will be the actor’s last film before diving into full-fledged political career.
