Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 has an ensemble cast including actors Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Siddharth, Guru Somasundaram, and Bobby Simha in prominent roles. Meanwhile, British actor Benedict Garrett, who is also playing a role in the film, has penned a note on completing filming for Indian 2.

Taking to Twitter, the actor wrote, "Today is my final day of shooting for Indian 2. It’s been hard work but a fantastic experience working alongside an acclaimed director, iconic actors & an amazing international crew & cast. Look forward to seeing the end product later this year." He tweeted along with a poster of the film. 

Reportedly Kamal Haasan and Shankar's Indian 2 is to hit theatres in the second half of 2023. The sequel of the 1996 film, Indian 2 will be a continuation of the blockbuster. The film is set in the pre-Independence era. 

Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music for Indian 2, while Ravi Varman is handling the cinematography. Director Shankar is also simultaneously working on Ram Charan's RC15. 

On the work front, after Indian 2, Kamal Haasan has films with directors Pa Ranjith and H Vinoth in the lineup. He also has the tentatively titled KH 234 with director Mani Ratnam and Vikram sequel with Lokesh Kanagaraj.
