The makers of Gautham Karthik starrer August 16 1947  released the second single titled Seenikaari on Monday. Composed by Sean Roldan, the song is sung by Sathyaprakash, with lyrics from Mohan Raja.

Written and Directed by NS Ponkumar, August 16 1947 borrows its title from the date that marks one day after India gained independence from the British colonial rulers. The film tells the tale of a remote village where one man battles British forces. Debutant Revathy is playing a lead role alongside Gautham Karthik.

August 16 1947, is backed by AR Murugadoss, Om Prakash Bhatt and Narsiram Choudhary. The film's technical crew includes music by Sean Roldan, Selvakumar SK cranking the camera, and Sudharsan on the edit.
