Bommai Nayagi, the recently released Tamil film starring actor Yogi Babu in the lead role, is set to premiere on ZEE5 on March 10, the streaming platform announced on social media.

The film is produced by Pa Ranjith’s Neelam Productions along with Yaazhi films. Alongisde Yogi Babu, child artiste Srimathi also plays the lead role. The film is written and directed by debut filmmaker Shan. The film follows a father’s fight to bring justice for his daughter.

“Bommai Nayagi might seem like a rather simple film, but it is anything but. There are so many layers in the film, and it is interesting to see the multiple takeaways of the film,” notes Cinema Express in its review.

The music for Bommai Nayagi is composed by Sundaramurthy KS who is best known for Airaa and 8 Thottakkal. Set in the coastal region of Cuddalore, the film revolves around the emotional connection between a father and daughter.

The editing for the film is handled by RK Selva while the cinematography is done by Athisayaraj. Apart from Yogi Babu and Srimathi, the cast of the film also includes Subhadra, Hari Krishnan, GM Kumar and SS Stanley.
