The makers of the Mari Selvaraj directorial, Vaazhai, released a new poster to wish the director on the occasion of his birthday. The poster shows young children sitting along with Mari Selvaraj under a tree. The film stars Kalaiyarasan, Nikhila Vimal, and Priyanka Nair, among others. With this film, Mari Selvaraj is debuting as a producer. 

Presented by Disney+ Hotstar and Navvi Studios, the film is expected to be a streamer original. Vaazhai’s technical team includes Theni Eswar as the cinematographer, while Suriya Pradhaman will handle the editing. Santhosh Narayanan, who has worked with Mari in Karnan and Pariyerum Perumal, will compose music for Vaazhai as well.

Meanwhile, Mari’s Maamanan is currently in the post-production stage. The film stars Udayanidhi Stalin, Keerthy Suresh, Vadivelu, and Fahadh Faasil among others.
