Actor Kamal Haasan released the first look of Karumegangal Kalaiginrana, the upcoming directorial of director Thangar Bachan. This comeback film of the director stars Bharathiraja, Yogi Babu, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mamta Mohandas and Aditi Balan in the lead roles.

The first look poster shows the lead actors Bharathiraja, Gautham Menon, Yogi Babu and Aditi Balan. They are all seen wearing clothes in a grey shade, to signify the titular 'Karumegangal' which means dark clouds. 

With music by GV Prakash and cinematography by NK Ekambaram, Karumegangal Kalaiginrana is backed by D Veersakathi.

Karumegangal Kalaiginrana is an expansion of a short story the director had written in 2006. He described the film as a timely one that talks about major issues that we are currently dealing with in society.

Thangar Bachan plans to have three releases by the end of this year, including the long-delayed Takku Mukku Tikku Thalam.
