After much anticipation, the makers of The Legend, the action entertainer starring Legend Saravanan, will stream on DisneyPlus Hotstar from Friday.

The film was released worldwide in theatres on July 28. The film opened to lukewarm responses from the audience. Directed by the duo JD-Jerry,  The Legend also stars Urvashi Rautela, Suman, Geethika, Prabhu, Vivek, Vijayakumar, Yogi Babu, Vamsi Krishna and Nasser. With music by Harris Jayaraj, the film has cinematography by Velraj and editing by Ruben. Besides starring, Legend Saravanan produced the film. 

An excerpt from Cinema Express review of The Legend, reads, "For the uninitiated, the film might be just one big joke, but honestly, Saravanan and team clearly know what they wanted to do with The Legend. They are all in on the joke, and so are we. In between all the paraphernalia, including grating intentional comedy, and hilarious unintended ones, The Legend offers us a 160-minute joyride like no other.
