Earlier, we reported that Rekha of Kadalora Kavithaigal fame will be returning to play the lead role in an upcoming film titled Miriammaa. On Thursday, the makers released the first look poster from the film.

The poster features Rekha along with other Ashiq, Sneha Kumar and Ezhil, dressed in a bright yellow saree along with a garland on her neck. Miriammaa is directed by a debutant named Malathy Narayan, who is a doctor by profession.

Miriammaa is a story of a 50-year-old who undergoes IVF treatment to get pregnant. The film discusses the reasons that compelled her to make the decision in a comical way. 

Also starring Anitha Sampath, VJ Ashiq, Sneha Kumar and Ezhil Durai, the film has cinematography by Jason Williams and music by AR Raihanah. Ezhil plays Rekha's son and Sneha plays his love interest.
