Kamal Haasan pens a note on Indian 2, lauds director Shankar

We know that actor Kamal Haasan is collaborating with director Shankar for the upcoming film Indian 2, the sequel to the 1996 film Indian. On Wednesday, taking to his Twitter handle, the actor shared a photo with the director and penned a note showering praises on Shanker's craft.

Kamal Haasan's Tweet, which was originally written in Tamil, loosely translated as," I watched the main scenes of Indian 2 today. My best wishes Shankar. I suggest not considering this as your highest achievement. While this may be the pinnacle of your artistic career for now, strive for more and aim for new heights." 

Shankar is working on both Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 and Ram Charan's RC15. The film also features Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Siddharth, Guru Somasundaram, and Bobby Simha in other prominent roles. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music, while Ravi Varman handles the cinematography.

On the work front, after Indian 2, Kamal Haasan has recently joined the act of Project K, helmed by Nag Ashwin; the film boasts an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. The actor's other films in the pipeline comprise films with directors Pa Ranjith and H Vinoth in the lineup. He also has the tentatively titled KH 234 with director Mani Ratnam and Vikram sequel with Lokesh Kanagaraj.
