On Sunday, the makers of Sibi Sathyaraj's 2022 film Maayon announced that the film is set to premiere on OTT in July. The announcement came on the occasion of the 1st year anniversary of the film.

Maayon is helmed by Kishore N. Starring Tanya Ravichandran as the female lead, the rest of the cast includes KS Ravikumar, Radha Ravi, Bagavathi Perumal and Hareesh Peradi. 

The film is produced by Arun Mozhi Manickam of Double Meaning Production, who has also written the screenplay for Maayon which has music by Ilaiyaraja.

With cinematography by Ram Prasad, the film has editing by Ram Pandian and Kondalarao. The makers are yet to announce the release date, as well as the platform for the film's digital release.
