Nirosha has reportedly joined the cast of Lal Salaam, directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth. The actor is said to be paired opposite Rajinikanth in the film. Though they were contemporary stars in the 80s and 90s, Lal Salaam marks their first collaboration together. 

With Vikranth and Vishnu Vishal playing the leads, Rajini plays an extended cameo as Moideen Bhai in the cricket-based film. Lal Salaam has music by AR Rahman and the film has a special cameo by world cup-winning Indian captain Kapil Dev.  The film is produced by Lyca Productions' Subaskaran.

Nirosha, who was last seen in Sasikumar's family drama Rajavamsam, is presently working in the Telugu serial Devathalara Deevinchandi.
