On Thursday, makers of Thalainagaram 2 announced that the Sundar C headlined film will hit theatres on June 23. Written and directed by VZ Dhorai, the film will also star Pallak Lalwani in a prominent role. 

The technical crew of Thalainagaram 2 includes E Krishnasamy as the cinematographer, while Sudharsan is the editor. Ghibran is the music composer for the film. Thalainagaram 2 will be backed by Dhorai along with SM Prabakaran. The film also stars Thambi Ramaiah, Baahubali-fame Prabhakar, Aayira, Jaise Jose, Vishal Rajan, and Seran Raj, among others.

Thalai Nagaram is a 2006 action crime film, which was written and directed by Suraj. The film starred Sundar C, Jyothimayi, Vadivelu, and Prakash Raj, among others and was met with commercial success.

Meanwhile, Sundar C is also filming for a number of other films, such as Aranmanai 4, One 2 One and Vallan.
