On Tuesday, the makers of Valli Mayil announced that the film has moved towards the final leg of shooting. Starring Vijay Antony in the lead, the film is helmed by Suseenthiran. 

The shoot of the film, which began in Dindigul, has taken place across cities such as Gobichettipalayam, Pollachi, Kodaikanal, Theni, Karaikudi and Palani, among others. 

Apart from Vijay Antony, Valli Mayil also has Director Bharathiraja, Actors Sathyaraj, Faria Abdullah, Redin Kingsly, GP Muthu and Aranthangi Nisha in prominent roles. 

Touted to be a rural entertainer, Valli Mayil is an action thriller set in the mid-80s. The film is set to be released in five languages, namely Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. Bankrolled by Nallusamy Pictures, Valli Mayil has music by D Imman and is editing by Llewellyn Anthony Gonsalves. 

The makers are yet to announce a release date for Valli Mayil.
