Following the theatrical release, the makers of Tamilarasan, starring Vijay Antony, announced that the film will stream on Zee5 on June 16.

Directed by Babu Yogeswaran, who previously helmed Jayam Ravi's Daas, Tamilarasan stars Remya Nambessan as Tamilarasan's wife. The film also has Suresh Gopi playing the role of a doctor. 

Billed as a thriller, the film also stars Radha Ravi, Sonu Sood, Sangeetha, Munishkanth, Robo Shankar, and Yogi Babu. Tamilarasan's technical crew includes music composer Ilaiyaraaja and cinematography by RD Rajasekhar. The film is produced by S Kowsalya Rani. 

Meanwhile, Vijay Antony's directorial debut Pichaikkaran 2, recently hit the theatres. He is currently filming for many other films, including Kolai, Ratham, Valli Mayil, and Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan.
