Famous villain actor Kazan Khan passes away

He has played several iconic roles in films like Sethupathi IPS, Kattumarakkaran and Mappillai Gounder

Renowned actor Kazan Khan, who is famous for playing villain roles in Tamil and Malayalam passed away today due to heart attack. The news was shared by producer and production controller NM Badhusha on his facebook page. 

Kazan Khan, who made his Tamil debut with Senthamizh Pattu, went on to play several iconic roles in films like Sethupathi IPS, Kattumarakkaran and Mappillai Gounder. He played several comical villain roles in films including Ullathai Allitha, Naam Iruvar Namakku Iruvar and Priyamanavale. His last film in the language was Pattaya Kelappu, which was released in 2008. 

Kazan made his Malayalam debut in 1993 with the Mohanlal-starrer Gandharvam. He later went on to play villain roles in films like The KingVarnapakittuDreamsand Rajadhiraja. He was last seen in Malayalam in the Joshiy directorial Laila O Laila (2015).

Dileep, who acted with Kazan Khan in films like CID Moosa, The Don and Ivan Maryadaraman, mourned his demise through social media.
