Actor Suriya recently took to his social media handle to thank his audiences for showering love on the Kanguva glimpse video.

He wrote, "Overwhelmed & humbled… will strive harder… thank you all for your kind wishes and the amazing response for #KanguvaGlimpse feeling blessed!! Special thanks to all my brothers and sisters for doing several welfare activities across the States. Heart-filled!"

Backed by Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green and UV Creations, and directed by Siva, Kanguva is aimed at an early 2024 release in 10 languages and 3D. The film marks Suriya's 42nd outing. Kanguva is co-produced by UV Creations and Studio Green.

In an earlier conversation with CE, Siva said, “The film is set 1500 years ago and uses elements from ancient Tamil culture as well as other cultures from all over India. Kanguva is a fictional story set in an imaginary world with strong historical references and facts."

The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Palanisamy, production designer Milan, editor Nishad Yusuf, and Stunt choreographer Supreme Sundar. While Narayana has co-written the script, Madhan Karky has written the dialogues.
