One year of Gargi, Sai Pallavi pens a brief note 

The actor penned that the film has made her fall in love with cinema even more

As Saturday marked the first anniversary of the Tamil film Gargi since its theatrical release, actor Sai Pallavi, who headlined the film pens a brief note on her Twitter handle. 

Taking to Twitter, the actor wrote, "A year already, Gargi, a character and a team that made me fall even more in love with cinema! Gautham Ramachandran, Thank you for this." 

Directed by Gautham Ramachandran, Gargi is produced by the filmmaker along with Ravichandran Ramachandran, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Thomas George.

The film, which was released on July 15, 2022, opened positive reception, " A clever script elevated by invested performances, a compelling soundtrack, and an assured director at the helm of a powerful and important film", reads an excerpt from the CE review of the film.

Apart from Sai Pallavi in the lead role, the upcoming film also features Kaali Venkat, Saravanan of Paruthiveeran-fame, and Aishwarya Lekshmi in a cameo role, among others.

The technical crew of Gargi consists of music composed by Govind Vasantha, cinematographer duo Sraiyanti and Premkrishna Akkattu and editing done by Shafique Mohamed Ali.
