The first single, Kaavaalaa from Rajnikanth's Jailer, featuring Tamannaah Bhatia, was recently unveiled. Composed by Anirudh Ravichander with lyrics written by Arunraja Kamaraj, Kaavaalaa, crooned by Shilpa Rao, has become an instant hit, topping the charts and social media. On Thursday, the makers dropped behind the scenes of the song's filming. 

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer will hit the theatres on August 10. The film marks Nelson's fourth directorial and maiden collaboration with Rajinikanth. The film is bankrolled by Sun Pictures banner with Vijay Kartik Kannan as the cinematographer and Nirmal as the editor.

Jailer will boast an ensemble star cast across industries, including Mohanlal, Sunil, Jackie Shroff, and Shivrajkumar. Besides this, the film will also feature Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, and Vinayakan, among others. Rajini plays a character named Muthuvel Pandian.
