We had earlier reported that a sequel to Demonte Colony is in the making with the Arulnithi reprising his lead role. The makers have now announced that the film will hit the theatres in September, while releasing a making video of the film.

With the shooting wrapped up, Demonte Colony 2 is helmed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, who also directed the first installment. Interestingly, the filmmaker has planned to turn Demonte Colony into a proper franchise and has got ideas to make the third and fourth parts in the future.

The film stars Priya Bhavani Shankar, Antil Jaaskalinen, Muthukumar, Tsering Dorjee, Sarjano Khalid, Meenakshi Govindarajan and Arun Pandian. The technical crew of Demonte Colony 2 consists of Sam CS as the music composer and Harish Kannan and Deepak D Menon as the cinematographers. Kumaresh and Ravi Pandi handle the editing and production design respectively.
