Siddharth's latest outing at the theatres, Takkar, will be available to stream on Netflix from July 7. The film is directed by Karthik G Krish, who previously helmed the romantic comedy Kappal in 2014. 

Takkar revolves around a young and dynamic boy with the urge to mint money meets a girl who believes money is the cause of all distress in life. Takkar hit theatres on June 9 and opened to unfavourable reviews.

The film also stars Yogi Babu, Divyansha, Abimanyu Singh, Munishkanth, and RJ Vigneshkanth, among others. The film is backed by Sudhan Sundaram and G Jayaram under the banner Passion Studios. 

Takkar's technical crew consists of Vaanjinathan Murugesan as the cinematographer and music composed by Nivas K Prasanna. GA Gowtham and Udaya Kumar are handling the edits and production design, respectively.
