On Wednesday, Vels Film International released the title poster of Jayam Ravi's 35th film Genie. The film is helmed by Bhuvanesh Arjunan, an erstwhile assistant of Mysskin. 

The upcoming mega-budget film will have music by AR Rahman. Kalyani Priyadarshan, Krithi Shetty and Wamiqa Gabbi will be seen in prominent roles in the film. 

The technical crew of Genie includes Mahesh Muthuswami cranking the camera, Pradeep E Ragav handling editing, and Umesh J Kumar in charge of art direction. The Pan-Indian film goes on floors on Wednesday and is said to go on for two days. The makers are said to resume the shoot again on July 20.

Apart from this film, Ravi has Siren, co-starring Keerthy Suresh, and Iraivan, alongside Nayanthara and a possible collaboration with director Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi in various stages of production.
