We had earlier reported that director Atlee and his wife and actor Priya Mohan were expecting a child. Now, the couple took to social media to announce that they were blessed with a baby boy. Priya and Atlee were married on November 2014. 

The couple wrote, "They were right, There is no feeling in the world like this, and just like that our baby boy is here! A new exciting adventure of parenthood starts today! Grateful, Happy, and Blessed." 

The couple had a baby shower function in December 2022, which went on to make headlines as actor Vijay came personally to deliver a gift to them.

Currently, Atlee is working on his debut Bollywood project, titled Jawaan. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara as the leads. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music of Jawaan, which is backed by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment. 

Incidentally, Atlee is also speculated to be directing Vijay's next after the recently announced Thalapathy 67, which marks the reunion of the actor with his Master director Lokesh Kanagaraj.
