Trisha rounded up an exciting 2022 with M Saravanan's Raangi, which saw her play a journalist who gets caught in an international conspiracy. The film, which was written by AR Murugadoss, also starred Anaswara Rajan in a pivotal role.

Now, the makers have announced the streaming date of the film. Raangi, which was released on December 30, is set to begin streaming on Netflix on January 29.

With music by C Sathya, a frequent collaborator of Saravanan who has composed for his earlier films Engeyum Eppothum and Ivan Vera Mathiri, Raangi is shot by cinematographer Shakthi.

Trisha, who is speculated to be part of Lokesh Kangaraj's upcoming Vijay-starrer Thalapathy 67, is awaiting the release of Ponniyin Selvan 2. The much-expected sequel to Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan, which became the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2022, will be out on April 28.
