The trailer of Samuthirakani’s starrer Naan Kadavul Illai was released by the makers on Friday. Directed by SA Chandrasekhar, who last directed the 2019 film Capmaari, the film also stars Ineya, Paruthiveeran Saravanan, and Sakshi Agarwal in prominent roles. The makers also revealed that the film is slated for release on February 3.

The trailer of the film reveals that it is a cop drama starring Samuthirakani as the cop character. Paruthiveeran Saravanan is playing the villain of the film, a murderer on the loose. How Samuthirkani catches Saravanan when he abducts the former's daughter forms the rest of the story. 

Naan Kadavul Illai also stars Abi Saravanan, Yuvan Mylesamy, Rohini, Iman Annachi, and Madurai Mayakka in supporting roles. Siddharth Vipin, who also scored music for Capmaari, will be composing music for Naan Kadavul Illai. The film has cinematography by Mahesh K Dev, while Prabhakar will serve as the editor.

On the other hand, Samuthirkani, who was last seen in Thunivu, is awaiting the release of Vaathi, which will hit theatres on February 17.
