It was announced yesterday that Dhanush's 50th film will be bankrolled by Sun Pictures. Following that it has been leant today that the actor has resumed shooting for director Arun Matheswaran's Captain Miller.

The film is reportedly set in the 1930s-40s and the team has erected a set in the forest region in Tenkasi. The team had earlier completed a schedule in December and they took a break in January. 

Captain Miller also stars Priyanka Mohan, Sandeep Kishan, Nivedhithaa Sathish, Shivarajkumar, and John Kokken in important roles.

Meanwhile, Dhanush's 50th film is expected to star Vishnu Vishal and SJ Suryah in lead roles, apart from himself. 

Dhanush will be next seen in Vaathi/Sir, directed by Venky Atluri, and the Tamil-Telugu film is slated to release on February 17.
