The shooting of Rajinikanth's upcoming film, Jailer, is going on in full swing. And the actor recently resumed filming for the project, which is currently underway in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, latest reports suggest that Jai Bhim director TJ Gnanavel has narrated a script to Rajinikanth, which he is most likely to take up. If speculations are true, this film is based on similar themes of Jai Bhim, and Lyca Productions will most probably be backing it. Meanwhile, the official confirmation on the same is awaited.

We earlier reported that Rajinikanth has signed a two-film deal with Lyca Productions. One among the two is Lal Salaam directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth. While Rajinikanth will be playing an extended cameo in the film, Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth are playing the lead.

Produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner, which earlier backed Annaatthe,  Jailer has music by Anirudh Ravichander. The film is expected to hit the theatres in 2023 summer. Jailer also stars Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, Kannada superstar Shivrajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, Yogi Babu, and Vasanth Ravi in pivotal roles.
