Yashika Aanand, who was last seen in Kadamaiyai Sei, is starring in a horror flick titled Chaithra next. Written and directed by debutante M Jenithkumar, the first look poster of the film shows a possessed Yashika along with a photo of her frightened self. 

With music by Prabhakaran Meiyappan, the film is backed by Mars Productions. While the edit will be handled by Elisha, Sathish Kumar will the handling the cinematography. 

In July last year, the actor met with a fatal accident and lost a friend. She underwent treatment for a long time before she recovered fully to get back to acting. 

Meanwhile, Yashika has a number of films in her pipeline. While she’s doing extended cameos in Bhageera and Raja Bheema, she is filming for Ivan Than Uthaman, Pambattam, Sulphur and Siruthai Siva.
