After directing Iravin Nizhal, billed as the world’s first single-shot non–linear film, filmmaker R Parthiban is set to direct his next. 

Taking to his social media handle, Parthiban revealed that his upcoming film is titled 52am Pakkathil Oru Mayiliragu. The poster featured a sketch of a man and a woman running around. The backdrop also features an abstract of a peacock feather painted with hues of blue and green. The film is said to be produced by Akira Productions Pvt Ltd. However, he has not announced the further details of the cast and crew of the film yet. 

Meanwhile, Iravin Nizhal was released in the theatres on July 15, 2022. Recently, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that Parthiban's Iravin Nizhal is one of the feature films eligible for the 95th Oscars. On the other hand, Parthiban is awaiting the release of Ponniyin Selvan 2.
