A glimpse of Sabari, the upcoming Tamil film starring Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the lead role, was released by the makers on social media on Tuesday.

Backed by Mahendra Nath Kondla under the Maha Movies banner, the film is helmed by Anil Katz who is making his directorial debut. Sabari will release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.

The glimpse video introduces us to the peaceful world of a mother and daughter, before a tragedy strikes them. The thriller hints a killer on the loose and the lengths one can go to save their loved ones.

The shooting of the film has been wrapped up. Apart from Varalaxmi, the film’s cast includes Ganesh Venkatram, Shashank, Mime Gopi, among others.  The technical crew consists of Gopi Sundar composing the music and Rahul Srivatsav handling the cinematography. Dharmendra Kakarala is the editor.
