Rumours are rife that Vijay, who recently addressed his fans after 2 years at Varisu audio launch, will once again meet them at the pre-release function happening at Hyderabad on 8th. The function is aimed to create a buzz among the Telugu-speaking audience for both Varisu and its Telugu version Varasudu. Interestingly, the actor is expected to deliver parts of his speech in Telugu. 

Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the emotional family drama Varisu features Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles with Prakash Raj, Sarathkumar, Jayasudha, Prabhu, Khushbu, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Sangeetha, and Suman among others in supporting roles. Thaman scored the music, while the cinematography is handled by Karthik K Palani.
