Jithan Ramesh, who started his acting career with Jithan, is now working on his next titled Route No 17. Directed by Abilash G Devan, the movie also stars Anju Pandiya in the lead role, while the cast includes Hareesh Peradi, Madhan, and Amar Ramachandran among others. Reportedly, Jithan Ramesh is to play the role of three characters parallelly in the film. 

The story is set on a forest path that is shut for 30 years for a mysterious reason. The plot revolves around how the trespassers never return alive from the forest. Touted to be a revenge thriller, the film is set in three different time periods between 1990 and 2020.  The music for the movie is composed by Malayalam composer Ouseppachan. The film is expected to release in theatres this year.
