T Rajendar launches TR Records with a promotional video

Actor/director/composer/lyricist T Rajendar has launched his own record label titled TR Records. The veteran actor announced the launch of the label with a short promotional video where he appears to introduce TR Records to the audience.
 

The video, which went live on New Year’s day, begins with TR wishing the audience a happy new year and follows it up with him reminiscing about all his hit films beginning from his debut Oru Thalai Raagam. He recollects how songs from his films went on to become massive chartbusters. His film Kilinjalgal got a Platinum disc, and then films like Pookalai Pareekatheergal, Poo Poova Poothirukku, Pookkal Vidum Thudhu, and Cooliekkaran went on to break several industry records.

T Rajendar is planning to record original songs and produce music videos under this new label. He goes on to add, “I’ve written songs for films, political parties, ideologies, for love and for relationships but now I’ve written a song for my country. My new original song which goes Vande Vande Maatharam, Vaazhiya Namathu Bharatham will receive a pan-Indian release soon.” He confirms that the song will be out in the Tamil month of Thai, and the release date will be announced soon.
